Emmitt Thomas, the longtime Kansas City Chiefs player and coach who recently retired from the coaching ranks, received a well-deserved shoutout at the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday, the final day of workouts in Indianapolis.
New Orleans Saints defensive assistant Peter Giunta cited Thomas’ story as inspiration for the defensive backs before their workouts.
