The Kansas City Chiefs made a rare player-for-player swap with former general manager John Dorsey, now GM of the Cleveland Browns, in Monday’s announced deal of safety Eric Murray going to Cleveland for defensive lineman Emmanuel Ogbah.
Ogbah was on the trading block in Cleveland for some time, ever since Dorsey pulled off another trade with the New York Giants to bring in Olivier Vernon. Ogbah became expendable at that point, at least as a starting option, and the defensive end himself didn’t show up for Browns offseason activities knowing he would likely be dealt.
