Eight Chiefs players ruled out for Friday’s preseason game vs. Seattle

ST. JOSEPH

Eight Chiefs have already been ruled out for their second preseason game Friday against the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that right tackle Jeff Allen (MCL sprain), left tackle Eric Fisher (high ankle sprain), tight end Demetrius Harris (foot), quarterback Tyler Bray (torn ACL), inside linebacker Justin March (torn meniscus), receiver Junior Hemingway (hip sprain), nose tackle Dontari Poe (back) and offensive tackle Tavon Rooks (shortness of breath) will not play Friday.

“He’s doing some tests right now and they’ve been doing it here for a couple of days to just see where he’s at,” Reid said of Rooks, who left practice Monday.
