Doug Pederson sees Chiefs' coordinator change as close to seamless

INDIANAPOLIS – The Kansas City Chiefs are replacing their former offensive coordinator, Doug Pederson, with a pair of coaches: veteran Brad Childress and young Matt Nagy. Pederson said he believes the change will be something close to seamless and not just because Childress and Nagy have been coaching for the Chiefs since 2013.

“Everything does start with coach [Andy] Reid," Pederson, now the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, said at the NFL scouting combine.

Reid’s presence is certainly a big factor. He plans to again be the primary offensive play-caller, as he has been for much of the past three seasons.
