ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- One day after throwing three training camp interceptions, Kansas City Chiefs rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes II had a better practice session Tuesday. His stats were uneven -- 1-of-8 in full-team drills and 9-of-10 in 7-on-7 -- but even within that Mahomes showed signs of improvement.
Mahomes’ stats weren’t good in team drills in part because he declined to force the ball in coverage.
