Despite a 3-5 record, Chiefs have confidence that they still have shot at postseason

The Kansas City Chiefs are facing a daunting task in digging out of the 3-5 hole they threw themselves into, while history seems to be even a bigger obstacle.

The team has never made the postseason (1961, 1974, 1976, 1985, 1989 and 2004) in years that they start out with their current record, but this group feels there is still a shot.

"There's things we can get better at," coach Andy Reid said, via UPI.com.

"We're not nearly as good as we possibly can be, so we've got to keep working. That's the challenge for all of us, players and coaches.
