Since 2011, the Kansas City Chiefs have been known for having one of the best pass-rushing duos in the NFL in Justin Houston and Tamba Hali. Both players made the Pro Bowl together from 2012 through 2015. The two combined for 117.5 sacks as teammates, from the time Houston got drafted in 2011 until Hali’s release this offseason.
Now, the Chiefs are hoping either Dee Ford or second-round draft pick Breeland Speaks can replace Hali and provide the same success Kansas City has had defensively upfront. Ford, who is entering his fifth season in the league, has had an up-and-down career.
