A familiar face is back, once again, in Kansas City. On Tuesday, the Chiefs announced a series of roster moves that included releasing wide receiver Davon Grayson and re-signing veteran wide receiver/returner De’Anthony Thomas.
The move to bring back Thomas is a very interesting one given the makeup of the current roster. Marcus Kemp was lost for the season due to a torn ACL and MCL and was placed on injured reserve. In his absence, the Chiefs lose a reliable special teams player as well as someone who was emerging as a pass catcher on offense.
