Across the NFL, coaches like the Kansas City Chiefs’ special teams coordinator Dave Toub continue to work through the new kickoff rules the league adopted in late March.
“There’s still some mystery,” said Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson, via the team’s official web site. “We’re still working out some things. I think it’s going to take preseason games to really fully understand what it’s about.”
But others think that well into the regular season, teams will still be experimenting how they approach with the new kickoff plays.
