According to multiple reports, the Kansas City Chiefs are parting ways with late-season 2017 signee Darrelle Revis.
This move isn’t necessarily shocking, but it is interesting. Revis’ contract was set up in a way that determining the cap hit gets a bit complicated, but according to Spotrac, his hit this year would have been $4.5 million to start the season. However, bonuses would have made his cap hit significantly higher, if you can believe Rotoworld, which reported him as having an $8.8 million roster bonus to go along with his roughly $1 million base salary.
