Cutting Jamaal Charles wouldn't be crazy, just not the right move

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Football Outsiders, suggesting a bold offseason move for each AFC team, says it’s time for the Kansas City Chiefs to cut Jamaal Charles. The first thing the writers, Aaron Schatz and Scott Kacsmar, say in making this suggestion is, "This is not crazy."

And it isn’t. The Chiefs won 11 straight games without Charles last season, so general manager John Dorsey should have at least given the idea some thought.

But to merely say that the Chiefs won 11 straight games last season without the injured Charles misses a bigger point: How much better would they have been with him in their lineup?
