If the Kansas City Chiefs wanted to add a familiar face to their new defense, they now have the choice to bring back cornerback Marcus Cooper to town.
The Detroit Lions announced a swap of pass defenders on Monday morning as they signed former Alliance of American Football standout Jamar Summers. To make room for Summers, the Lions released Cooper after beinsdbg with the team for most of the last year.
Cooper joined the Lions midway through the 2018 season and ended up playing four games. He then re-signed after the season and stuck with the team through the start of training camp and this first preseason game.
