The Kansas City Chiefs know very well how the Indianapolis Colts are feeling when it comes to the health and wellness of their safeties. For the Chiefs, it’s been a long year dealing with injuries to the secondary and now the Colts are wrestling with the same as they prepare to visit Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.
Colts head coach Frank Reich detailed some injury updates on Tuesday with Sirius XM and said that veteran Mike Mitchell will not be able to play at all against the Chiefs after being placed on injured reserve. That rules out one important player in the Colts secondary already, a recent addition who has played in 8 games this year after being signed midseason (and started four).
