The Kansas City Chiefs had the final pick in the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 32 and, after a wild night, had all sorts of talent at its disposal. General manager Brett Veach decided to err on the side of scheme fit and draft running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire out of LSU.
Despite there being a plethora of options available, since no running backs had been selected among the previous 31 picks, the Chiefs passed up on the likes of D’Andre Swift and Jonathan Taylor to go with Edwards-Helaire.
