For a team who hadn’t won a Super Bowl in a full half century, the Kansas City Chiefs are handling their business rather well. The team definitely enjoyed the extra week leading up to the biggest game, and the ensuing parade and parties were epic, to be sure. However, the Chiefs were also quick to let the dust, er, confetti settle for the sake of the work ahead of them.
That work is simply about repeating what they were just able to achieve. Everyone in the Chiefs organization, according to team owner Clark Hunt, enjoyed the festivities while they could and then got right back to work with a united goal of making sure it’s not another fifty years before they do so again.
