The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the final day of rookie-only training camp as the team’s veterans began reporting in for what should be a full team practice on Sunday. Third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun was among the players making the most of Friday’s session, sharing his thoughts on the importance of this period for both rookies and veterans as well as its significance for his own personal development.
“It’s night and day,” Oladokun said, describing the difference in intensity between the rookie-only practices and when the veterans are present. “It’s a really good time, not only for the rookies, but for all four of us QBs to come in and sort of just get our feet back on the ground, and make some throws live with our receivers.
