The calf injury that surprisingly sidelined Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones in Sunday’s win over the Houston Texans might also keep him out of the team’s upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke to reporters on Monday and made it clear that there’s simply no way of knowing the condition that Jones will be in six days before he’s scheduled to suit up and face down the Titans team that shocked the Chiefs with a loss at midseason.
Jones was healthy and ready to go coming off of a bye week and a Pro Bowl season for the Chiefs along the defensive line when he went down during practice on Wednesday with a calf injury.
