Adam Teicher of ESPN reports that the Chiefs are bringing in veteran RB Ben Tate for a workout on Tuesday.
This comes just a day after RB Jamaal Charles went down with a non-contact knee injury. All indications are that Charles has a torn ACL and will subsequently miss the remainder of the 2015 season.
Tate, 27, signed a two-year, $6.2 million contract that included $2.5 million guaranteed with Cleveland back in March of last year.
