According to Howard Balzer, the Chiefs brought in three players for workouts on Tuesday including LB Jayrone Elliott, S Kelcie McCray and OT Storm Norton.
Elliott, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out Toledo back in 2014. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1,535,000 rookie contract with the Packers but did not receive a restricted offer from the team, which is why he’s been testing the open market.
Elliott re-signed with the Packers this offseason but was traded to the Cowboys at the start of the regular season for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2018.
