KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs were so confident about their running back depth a couple of weeks ago that they felt comfortable trading Knile Davis to the Green Bay Packers.
Since then, Jamaal Charles has experienced some problems with his surgically-repaired right knee, and Spencer Ware has a concussion.
With both players iffy at best for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs were left with only Charcandrick West, who played in the second half on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, and a couple of wide receivers in Tyreek Hill and De’Anthony Thomas who can fill in in a pinch.
