The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran cornerback Morris Claiborne in recent days to help bolster the team’s secondary as they prepare for the regular season, but they’re going to have to wait to get a glimpse of how the unit looks together for at least another week with word that Claiborne will miss the second game of the preseason.v
The Chiefs travel to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers at Heinz Field on Saturday, but head coach Andy Reid said the team would be without Claiborne for the game after he also missed the opening salvo against the Cincinnati Bengals, a dominant 38-17 win for the Chiefs last Saturday.
