The Kansas City Chiefs turned the tide of the preseason with a 28-14 win over the host Atlanta Falcons that brought their preseason record to 1-1.
The Chiefs first-team unit played the entire first half, giving Patrick Mahomes several drives with which to showcase his skills and start to get a feel for how the regular season will treat him—with both the good and bad. Mahomes finished the night 8 of 12 for 138 passing yards with 1 touchdown and 1 touchdown.
