In a fitting close to the NFL’s Salute to Service Month, Kansas City Chiefs running backs Charcandrick West and Knile Davis, along with offensive tackle Bryan Witzmann, travelled to Fort Leavenworth to visit with service men and women.
“It’s a beautiful place and they accepted us with open arms,” West said. “We just came out to show our support and give thanks to those guys and what they do for our country.”
The first stop on the tour of Leavenworth was the Post Exchange, where the players and Chiefs cheerleaders signed autographs and took photos with fans.
