KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs have had some success in recent years in finding veteran safeties on the free-agent market and are trying again with Jimmy Wilson.
Wilson, a five-year veteran who has played for the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers, agreed to contract terms with the Chiefs, according to a source.
The Chiefs have the need for a veteran safety.
