The Kansas City Chiefs had some good news and some bad news when it came to injuries on Thursday. Let’s start with the good news.
After participating only partially on Tuesday and Wednesday, safety Tyrann Mathieu was back to full practice Thursday, even recording a one-handed interception for the second day in a row.
“He was full-go [Thursday] and did his thing and worked [Wednesday],” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. “He banged up his shoulder just a little bit—I’m being a little bit cautious with that, get him ready for the season.
