On Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs conducted their 11th 2024 training camp practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
The day’s injury news begins with the introduction of a new player. Former TCU tight end Geor’Quarius Spivey was on the field with his new teammates. He was wearing No. 85. Since that number was previously assigned to injured tight end Izaiah Gathings (hamstring) — and since Gathings was absent from the practice field — we believe that Spivey is taking Gathings’ roster spot. We expect to be able to confirm this later today.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound tight end spent 2022 at TCU before transferring to Mississippi State.
