Chiefs rookie cornerback Steven Nelson will be active for the first time on Sunday.
Nelson, a third-round pick this year, has been inactive in the Chiefs' first four games. It remains to be seen if he will log any snaps at nickel corner — safety Ron Parker handled those duties against the Bengals last season — but it's a step in the right direction for Nelson, who is listed at 5 feet 11 and 194 pounds.
Inactives for the Chiefs include quarterback Aaron Murray, receiver Albert Wilson, cornerback Marcus Cooper, offensive tackle Jah Reid, tight end Brian Parker, inside linebacker Josh Mauga and defensive end Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
