Chiefs sign Tyler Bray to two-year extension

Raise your hand if you saw this coming. Nobody? OK, then. The Kansas City Chiefs have signed backup quarterback Tyler Bray to a two-year contract worth $1.925 million, according to Field Yates of ESPN. Bray’s contract does not have any guarantees in it, meaning should general manager John Dorsey decide to cut bait, the Chiefs are not on the hook for any dead money.

Bray was signed as an undrafted rookie free-agent in Dorsey’s first season with Kansas City, back in 2013. He has never played a snap in a regular or postseason game, only seeing very limited action in the preseason.
