The Kansas City Chiefs have signed two more tryout players from this past weekend’s rookie minicamp, per Twitter.
WR Jordan Smallwood, Oklahoma
Smallwood is a 6-foot-2, 219-pound wide receiver out of the University of Oklahoma. What stands out about Smallwood is his lack of production over four injury-ridden seasons in college.
Smallwood suffered a foot injury in 2013 and a torn ACL in the spring of 2015. He had limited playing time his junior season before only making 10 catches for 97 yards in his final year.
Smallwood had just 18 career catches but managed to make an NFL roster in Kansas City with a strong tryout performance.
