The Kansas City Chiefs unofficially demoted offensive lineman Cam Erving to a swing-tackle role when they released their depth chart on Monday night; on Tuesday, they extended his contract.
Friend of the site Terez Paylor of Yahoo! Sports chimed in with contract details.
OT/OG Cam Erving has agreed to a two-year extension with the Chiefs worth up to $15.7M, depending on how much he plays, per source. Deal also includes $6.45M in guarantees and makes him one of the highest-paid swing linemen in the league.

Erving had been entering the final year of his deal in 2018 after the Chiefs chose not to exercise his fifth-year option back in early May.
