The Chiefs are making moves to shore up their safety position.
The Chiefs have signed safety Jimmy Wilson, a source confirmed to The Star on Friday, while the agent for safety Stevie Brown tweeted that his client has signed with the Chiefs, as well.
Pro Football Talk reported the Wilson news first.
Wilson, who turns 30 in July, is a six-year pro who has played for the Dolphins and Chargers. He started 13 games for the Dolphins in 2014, recording 58 tackles, two pass deflections and an interception. In 13 games with the Chargers last year (six starts), he recorded 44 tackles, two pass deflections and an interception.
