The Chiefs are adding to their depth at outside linebacker.
The club has signed Andy Mulumba to a one-year deal, his agent, Tom Tafelski, confirmed to The Star on Friday.
“He's very excited to be there,” Tafelski said. “He loves barbecue — that made it even better.”
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported the news first.
Mulumba, who turned 26 in January, was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He has spent the last three years with the Packers, recording 35 tackles and a sack in 22 games.
Mulumba, who is listed at 6 feet 3 and 260 pounds, had his most productive season in 2013, when he appeared in 14 games (three starters) and recorded 30 tackles and a sack.
