According to the team's Twitter account, the Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver L'Damian Washington, while waiving defensive tackle Jerel Worthy, whom the team signed to its practice squad in last October.
Washington is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Missouri and will take Worthy's roster spot.
Worthy played in 14 games in the NFL, but tore his ACL in Week 17 of 2012 and has only played in two games since.
