The Chiefs added to their edge defender group Monday by signing former Charger, Tourek Williams.
Williams, playing in 142 snaps in 2016, registered just three total pressures and three defensive stops, compiling a 49.8 PFF pass rushing grade and a 48.6 run defense grade in the process.
Despite his perennial lack of production defensively, Williams has made plays on special teams, which the Chiefs value. He has a combined 15 special teams tackles (with just three missed) his last two seasons (he missed 2015 with a broken foot).
