The Kansas City Chiefs began their search for a new defensive coordinator on Tuesday night with the firing of Bob Sutton, but Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that a favorite has already emerged less than 24 hours later in former St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
According to Adam Schefter, who just yesterday said a “name to watch” was ESPN analyst Rex Ryan, the frontrunner for the opening is now Spagnuolo.
Spagnuolo is certainly a seasoned NFL coach with plenty of experience that includes a Super Bowl ring with the New York Giants back in 2007.
