The Kansas City Chiefs first signed defensive tackle Stefan Charles in the week leading up to the team’s first and unfortunately only postseason game this year against the Tennessee Titans. At the same time they placed cornerback Phillip Gaines on injured reserve, the Chiefs added the journeyman to the roster to get a closer look at his potential.
It turns out they must have liked what he brought to the team enough, because John Kryk of the Toronto Sun is reporting that Charles has returned to the Chiefs on a new one-year deal.
