If the latest rumors swirling in NFL circles can be trusted, it sounds as if Eric Bieniemy is over any sort of emotional idea of coaching at his alma mater, the University of Colorado, and will instead continue to wait on a future head coach opening at the NFL level.
ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler recently stated that Colorado has “been making overtures” toward Bieniemy, who is currently the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, but that nothing major has come from them.
“I’m told that there’s no major traction right now and that Bieniemy knows going into next year, he’s going to be a very attractive head coaching candidate in 2021,” said Fowler.
