The offensive front was stabilized earlier this offseason with the signing of Laurent Duvernay-Tardif to a long-term extension. The move will keep the perceived starting five together for at least three more seasons across the entire front, from Eric Fisher to Mitchell Schwartz. Mike Person originally signed with the Chiefs last November, the same week the Chiefs placed Parker Ehinger on injured reserve. Person was a small-school prospect when he was selected in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
