The Kansas City Chiefs allowed running back Knile Davis to hit free agency this offseason after spending his first four years in the NFL with the team. So far, his market has yet to heat up, but the first signs of interest have now surfaced with the reported visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers have a featured back in place with Le’Veon Bell, but the depth chart behind him is not quite set, given that the Steelers have yet to re-sign DeAngelo Williams. Williams’ presence has been important at key times given Bell’s injury history. While the Steelers have younger options, there’s not a single drafted player on the roster below Bell, which could mean Davis has a nice chance of making the roster, if Pittsburgh is interested.
