If the rumors are true, the Kansas City Chiefs will soon have extended two of their safeties—and Ron Parker is already secured on the roster. Days after signing Eric Berry to a shiny new extension, general manager John Dorsey is working on one for his teammate Daniel Sorensen.
The Chiefs recently gave Sorensen a second round qualifying offer (or tender) that allows the Chiefs the right of first refusal to match any offer sheet with another team that Sorensen might sign. But Dorsey is keen to keep that from even happening apparently by giving Sorensen a deal to keep him in Kansas City for the foreseeable future.
