Training camp is a long, grueling process but it flies by fast. The Kansas City Chiefs held their first practice Tuesday in St. Joseph, Mo., as quarterbacks, rookies and select veterans took part in a three-day minicamp before the full squad practices Friday.
Out of all the rookies, running back Kareem Hunt, the team’s third-round pick out of Toledo, might get the most playing time this season. At this point, the starting running back spot is a little up for grabs and Hunt is glad to get the season started.
“It’s a good feeling,” Hunt said after Tuesday’s practice.
