The Kansas City Chiefs officially released TE Richard Gordon from their injured reserve list on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Gordon, 28, was taken in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He spent two years with Oakland before he was waived and later caught on with the Steelers.
The Chiefs re-signed him as an unrestricted free agent in March before later placing him on injured reserve.
In 2014, Gordon appeared in five games for the Chiefs, but didn’t record a single statistic.
