The Chiefs made a trio of roster moves on Monday, according to the NFL's transaction report.
The club reached an injury settlement with tight end Richard Gordon and released him from injured reserve. They also released tight end Ross Travis from the practice squad and signed inside linebacker Tyrell Adams to replace him.
Adams, who is listed at 6 feet 2 and 228 pounds, is an undrafted rookie from West Georgia who spent some time with the Seattle Seahawks. As a senior in 2014, Adams led West Georgia with 92 tackles (6 1/2 for loss) and also had eight pass breakups and 10 pass deflections.
