KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The car of Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy was stolen this week, a source confirmed.
Worthy was not with the vehicle when it was taken, and he is unharmed.
ProFootballTalk.com, which first reported the news, reported that the car was stolen from Worthy's apartment complex.
Worthy was selected last month by the Chiefs in the first round of the draft. He set a record at this year's scouting combine with a time of 4.21 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
The Chiefs begin offseason practice next week.
