Chiefs receiver Da’Rick Rogers reached a plea agreement in which he will serve one day in jail and six months of probation for driving under the influence, WISH-TV in Indianapolis reported Monday.
Rogers, 23, was released by the Colts in September, shortly after he was charged. He sat out the rest of the 2014 season, but was signed by the Chiefs to a reserve-futures contract on January.
Rogers is a former five-star prep prospect who caught 67 passes for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011 as a sophomore at Tennessee. But he was indefinitely suspended before the season because of a team rules violation.
