The Kansas City Chiefs announced that two veteran players from the Super Bowl-winning roster in 2019 will be returning to make another run at it in 2020 with the re-signing of fullback Anthony Sherman and defensive lineman Mike Pennel.
The Chiefs haven’t made many moves at all in free agency as they are very limited by the salary cap at present, but they’ve brought back a handful of players in an attempt to keep the band together.
Sherman remains one of the most underrated finds on the team after coming over in a deal back in 2013 in a straight player-for-player trade for returner Javier Arenas.
