The Chiefs announced a handful of staff changes on Friday, the most notable of which was the promotion of Britt Reid — Andy Reid’s son — to defensive line coach.
Britt Reid replaces 75-year-old Tommy Brasher, who has served as the Chiefs’ defensive line coach since 2013 and has been a defensive line coach on Andy Reid’s staff since 1999, his first as Philadelphia Eagles head coach. Brasher has been shifted to special projects.
“Coach Brasher has been one of the best in the business for a long time,” Andy Reid said in a release. “After the season, we sat down together and he expressed to me that it was time for a change.
