Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is about to become the chairman of a powerful NFL owners committee.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal’s Andrew Beaton, Hunt will take over the league’s finance committee, which was previously chaired by Houston Texans owner Bob McNair. McNair died in November.
Roger Goodell has sent a memo to clubs announcing two changes on major committees. The finance committee, previously chaired by the late Bob McNair, will now be led by Clark Hunt.
Joel Glazer will now chair the international committee, which had been headed by Hunt.
