The offensive line corner of the Chiefs locker room got a little more crowded this week.
Mike Person, a six-year veteran with experience at guard and center, was a 14-game starter for the Falcons last season. He was signed to the Chiefs active roster on Wednesday. He’s a backup candidate for both positions now that Zack Fulton, who also plays both positions, is likely to move into the starting lineup with the season-ending injury to left guard Parker Ehringer.
Person spent the 2011 season with the 49ers, with Alex Smith as a teammate. He played for the Colts, Seahawks and Rams before getting his most extensive playing time in Atlanta last season.
