Chiefs offense should be best it’s been in years

The Kansas City Chiefs have not been known for a great offense over the past decade. The team has had individual stars on that side of the ball throughout that period including Tony Gonzalez, Jamaal Charles and Larry Johnson, but the unit has failed to be special.

Kansas City should be able to change that in 2016, with perhaps the best collection of talent on offense since the days of Trent Green and Priest Holmes. Under head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs have ranked 21st, 25th and 27th in total offense over the past three seasons, respectively. Obviously, none of those numbers are terrific.
